Our Travel Services: Everything Under One Roof, Since 1994
Sixteen services, one team, one point of contact. From a single Nairobi–Kigali ticket to a 300-person conference, and every visa, transfer and insurance policy in between.
The Odyssey, Westlands. Every service on this page is delivered by people who sit in this room.
There is a version of travel planning where you book the flight on one platform, the hotel on another, the transfer through a WhatsApp number a friend forwarded you, and the visa through an agent you found on Google. It works, in the sense that you usually arrive, but it can fail badly at exactly the wrong moment, when the inbound flight is cancelled and the hotel is non-refundable and nobody is responsible for the gap between them.
The travel services Kenya businesses and families actually need are not sixteen separate transactions. They are one arrangement with sixteen moving parts, held by somebody who knows how the parts connect.
That is what we have done since 11 May 1994. Over 10,000 travellers, more than 300 corporate clients, and an IATA accreditation that means we issue tickets on our own authority rather than reselling somebody else's. This page sets out every service we offer and points you to the right one. If you are not sure which that is, the fastest route is to ask us.
Not Sure Which Service You Need?
Describe the trip in a sentence. We will tell you what it involves and which of our consultants should handle it, before you commit to anything.
Corporate Travel: For Organisations That Move People
Corporate travel is our largest line of business and the one the company was built around. If your organisation has a travel budget that somebody is accountable for, this is where to start.
Corporate Travel Management
The programme itself: policy design, approval workflows, negotiated airline and hotel rates, traveller tracking, duty of care and the reporting that lets your finance team see where the money actually went. We run programmes for over 300 organisations across Kenya and East Africa, including NGOs, banks, manufacturers and development agencies. This is the hub page for everything corporate. Start here if you are responsible for a travel budget rather than a single trip.
Flight Booking Services
IATA-accredited ticketing on our own authority, which is the distinction that matters when a schedule falls apart. Negotiated corporate fares, complex multi-city routings, and the ability to reissue and reroute directly at two in the morning rather than pointing you at an airline call centre. Also handles leisure and group ticketing.
Hotel Reservations
Negotiated corporate rates across Nairobi, Mombasa and the wider region, plus lodge and camp reservations for leisure. Rate negotiation mechanics (how corporate rates are actually secured and what makes a programme worth negotiating for) are covered in full on that page.
Travel Insurance
We coordinate cover through licensed providers. The page is deliberately informational rather than promotional: what the policy categories mean, where the exclusions bite, what medical evacuation from a remote park actually involves, and what a Schengen application requires. We are not an underwriter and do not present ourselves as one.
Airport Transfers and Meet & Assist
JKIA and Wilson pickups, and our KARIBU meet-and-assist service for arriving executives, elderly travellers and anyone moving through an unfamiliar terminal under time pressure.
Group Travel
Anything above roughly eight travellers changes the economics, usually in your favour. Corporate delegations, school trips, church groups, sports teams and family celebrations.
Bleisure Travel
Extending a business trip into a short holiday, structured so it does not breach your employer's travel policy or create a tax problem.
MICE and Events
Meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions. Venue sourcing across Nairobi, Mombasa and the conservancies, delegate logistics, and incentive programmes that use what Kenya has and other destinations do not.
Leisure Travel: For Holidays, Honeymoons and Family Trips
The other half of the business, and the reason our positioning is from boardroom to bush rather than one or the other. Very few companies do both properly. Pure corporate agencies cannot plan a safari; pure safari operators cannot manage a travel programme.
Leisure Travel
The hub for all holiday planning: how we work, what a consultation involves, budget expectations at each level, and the case for planning through an agency rather than assembling it yourself. Start here if you want a holiday but have not settled on where.
Kenya Safari Tours
Every safari we run, by type and by park. Classic game drives, walking safaris, balloon safaris, photographic safaris, birding and conservation-focused trips. The Great Migration timeline, the Big Five, sample itineraries from three to ten days and honest pricing in shillings and dollars.
Honeymoon Packages
Safari-and-beach combinations, Indian Ocean island escapes and long-haul honeymoons. The combination that consistently produces the best feedback is three or four nights in the Mara followed by a week at the coast: two entirely different holidays for barely more than one.
Luxury Travel
The top of what we sell, in Kenya and beyond. This page is reviewed every six months against new property openings, because the Kenyan luxury camp market has moved substantially across 2025 and 2026 and a stale recommendation list is worse than none.
Family Safari and Family Travel
Age-appropriate parks, properties that genuinely want children rather than merely tolerating them, and straight guidance on when a child is too young for a particular destination. We would rather tell you to wait two years than sell you a trip your four-year-old will not enjoy.
Car Hire
Self-drive and chauffeur-driven, saloon through to safari-specification 4x4. Useful to know before you book: much of what looks driveable on a map is not, in the rains, in a saloon car.
Travel Logistics: The Services Behind Every Trip
These sit underneath everything else. Most travellers only think about them once, usually too late.
Visa Application Assistance
Fifty-plus countries, including the ones that cause Kenyan travellers the most difficulty: the USA, the UK, Schengen, Canada, Australia, China and India. Document checks, appointment booking, application review and honest advice about what will and will not succeed. This is where our search visibility has been strongest for years, and it is the service most likely to save a trip that would otherwise collapse. The single most common failure we see is not a rejection. It is a traveller who booked a flight before checking appointment availability and discovered the next Schengen slot was three months out. A document check with us costs nothing and takes a phone call.
Travel Insurance Coordination
Covered above, and worth repeating here because it is the service most often skipped and most expensive to have skipped. A Schengen application will not proceed without it, and medical evacuation from a remote park without cover is a bill measured in millions of shillings.
Airport Transfers and Meet & Assist
Also covered above. The service quietly does more for the experience of a trip than its cost suggests, particularly at the start and end of a long-haul journey.
Sixteen Services. One Phone Call.
You do not need to work out which of these you need. Tell us what the trip is and we will assemble the parts (flights, hotels, transfers, visas, insurance) as one arrangement with one point of contact.
What Our Accreditations Actually Mean for You
Every travel agency in Nairobi displays a row of logos. Very few explain what any of them do for the person paying. Here is the practical version.
- IATA accreditation is the one that matters most and is least understood. It means we hold ticketing authority directly with the airlines through the Billing and Settlement Plan. When your flight is cancelled, we can reissue your ticket and reroute you ourselves. A non-accredited agent cannot; they have to go back to whoever issued the ticket and wait. At 02:00 on a Sunday, that difference is the whole difference.
- KATA: the Kenya Association of Travel Agents. Industry self-regulation and a route to recourse if a member behaves badly.
- KATO: the Kenya Association of Tour Operators. Relevant to the safari side of the business and to operating standards in the parks.
- KTF and ATTA: the Kenya Tourism Federation and the African Travel and Tourism Association. Both matter for sector advocacy and for the information flow on safety, access and regulation that reaches members before it reaches the public.
- We are also a Registered Data Controller, compliant with the Kenya Data Protection Act and GDPR. Passport scans, travel patterns and payment details are sensitive. We treat them accordingly.
- We are a subsidiary of the Ramco Group of Companies, one of Kenya's established industrial groups. That backing is why a 1994 company is still here in 2026, in a sector where the failure rate is high and client deposits sometimes disappear with the agency.
How We Work
Every engagement, corporate or leisure, moves through the same four stages. The depth varies; the shape does not.
- Consultation. A conversation, not a form. What is the trip, who is travelling, what are the dates and what is the budget. For corporate clients this is a review of current travel spend and where it is leaking. Fifteen minutes here saves hours later, and it is the stage most online platforms skip entirely.
- Proposal. Written options showing what is included and what is not. We present alternatives and explain the differences between them.
- Booking. Tickets issued on our own IATA authority. Hotels confirmed. Transfers arranged. Visa applications lodged. Insurance placed with a licensed provider. You get one confirmation document covering all of it rather than seven emails from seven suppliers.
- After the trip. For corporate clients, reporting: spend by department, by route, by supplier, policy compliance and where savings sit for the next cycle. For leisure clients, a conversation about what worked, because the second trip we plan for someone is always better than the first.
Paying Us
- M-Pesa: accepted across our services and the method most of our leisure clients use. Fast, familiar and traceable.
- Bank transfer: KCB, Equity and Co-operative Bank. Standard for larger bookings and corporate settlement.
- Card payment: Visa and Mastercard.
- Corporate credit terms: clients on account settle to agreed terms rather than paying per booking. Terms are agreed at onboarding.
We can arrange payment by M-Pesa, bank transfer, card payment or corporate invoice account. Payment schedules are set out in writing before you commit to anything.
When Things Go Wrong
Most of the value of a travel agency is invisible until a trip breaks. Then it is the only thing that matters.
Call +254 700 372 398. It runs twenty-four hours a day, every day, and a consultant answers it. Not a recorded menu and not a ticketing queue.
What happens next depends on what broke.
- A cancelled or delayed flight: we reissue and reroute on our own IATA authority. We are frequently able to rebook a passenger before the airline's own counter has finished processing the queue in front of them, because we are working the same systems from a different direction.
- A missed connection: we rebook the onward leg and, where the delay strands you overnight, arrange the hotel. If the airline is liable, we pursue that separately rather than making you do it.
- A medical problem abroad: we work with the insurer and, where relevant, with the GlobalStar partner in that country. Our travel insurance page sets out what evacuation cover actually involves, including from remote parks.
- A lost passport: we coordinate with the nearest Kenyan mission and rebuild the travel arrangements around the delay.
- A visa refused close to departure: we look at whether the trip can be restructured, whether the fare is salvageable, and whether an appeal or reapplication is realistic. Sometimes the honest answer is that it is not, and we say so.
This is the reason people who have used a travel agency once tend to keep using one. It has very little to do with the price of the ticket.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to use all your services, or can I book just a flight?
Just a flight is fine, and a large number of our clients start exactly that way. There is no minimum and no package requirement. Most people find they add services over time (the flight, then the transfer, then the visa, then the whole trip) because it turns out to be easier than assembling it themselves.
What does IATA accreditation actually mean?
That we hold ticketing authority directly with the airlines and issue tickets ourselves rather than reselling through a third party. The practical consequence is that when a flight is cancelled we can reissue and reroute your ticket directly, at any hour, instead of referring you back to the airline. It also means the airlines settle with us through a regulated financial system, which is a consumer protection you do not get from an unaccredited agent.
Can I pay with M-Pesa?
Yes, alongside bank transfer to KCB, Equity or Co-operative, and card payment. Corporate clients settle to agreed credit terms. Deposit and balance schedules are confirmed in writing before you commit.
Do you handle both corporate and leisure travel?
Both, and the combination is our defining characteristic. We manage travel programmes for more than 300 corporate clients and we plan safaris and holidays for individuals and families. Very few companies in Kenya do both to a serious standard: corporate specialists cannot plan a safari and safari operators cannot run a travel programme. Our corporate travel and leisure travel pages cover each side in depth.
What is GlobalStar and why does it matter to me?
GlobalStar Travel Management is a global network of independent travel management companies covering 80+ countries and 2,500 locations. We are its exclusive Kenyan partner. If you are travelling, it means there is a partner office in most countries you will visit. If you are a company with operations outside Kenya, it means one consistent travel programme rather than a different agency in every market.
Is there support outside office hours?
Yes. Our offices run Monday to Friday 08:30–17:30 and Saturday 08:30–13:00, but the emergency line on +254 700 372 398 is live twenty-four hours and answered by a consultant. This is a genuine duty-of-care service, not a voicemail box checked in the morning.
Do you serve clients outside Nairobi?
Yes. We have an office in Nanyuki on the main Nairobi–Nanyuki highway, which serves Laikipia, Mount Kenya, Samburu and the northern circuit with genuine local knowledge rather than researched knowledge. Beyond that we work with clients across Kenya remotely (WhatsApp, phone and email) and a good share of our corporate programmes run without the client ever needing to visit Westlands.
How do I get started?
Send us a WhatsApp on +254 757 188 757 or call +254 20 5148700 with a one-line description of the trip. For corporate enquiries, ask for a travel spend review: we will look at what you are currently spending and where the leakage is, at no cost and with no obligation.
Every Travel Service in Kenya You Need, from One Team That Has Done This Since 1994
