Contact Travelshoppe: Our Nairobi and Nanyuki Offices
Two offices, one 24-hour line, and a consultant who knows your name. Reach us by phone, WhatsApp, email or in person.
Get in Touch
You can contact Travelshoppe by phone on +254 20 5148700, by WhatsApp on +254 757 188 757, by email at info@travelshoppe.co.ke, or by walking into our Westlands office on the 5th floor of The Odyssey, 84 Muthithi Road. If you are travelling right now and something has gone wrong, our 24-hour emergency line is +254 700 372 398 and a person answers it.
We have been arranging travel from Nairobi since May 1994. In that time we have learned that the moment somebody decides to contact a travel agency is usually the moment they have run out of patience with a booking site, a visa portal, or an airline call centre queue. So this page is built to get you to the right desk quickly, rather than to make you fill in a form and hope.
Below you will find complete details for both our offices, genuine directions to each one, a breakdown of which department handles what, what to have ready before you call, and how quickly you can expect to hear back from us. Our consultants are IATA-trained, our agency is IATA-accredited, and we are the exclusive Kenyan partner in the GlobalStar Travel Management network spanning 80+ countries.

Nairobi Head Office: Westlands
The Odyssey, 5th Floor
84 Muthithi Road, Westlands

Phone: +254 20 5148700
WhatsApp: +254 757 188 757

Hours: Mon–Fri 08:30–17:30 · Sat 08:30–13:00
Our head office has been the centre of the business for three decades. It houses our corporate travel desks, the leisure and safari teams, our visa department, ticketing, and the finance office. If your enquiry is complex (a multi-city corporate itinerary, a group of forty, a visa application with a complicated travel history) this is where it will be handled.
What You Can Actually Do at the Westlands Office
Plenty of people assume a travel agency counter is only for collecting tickets. Ours does considerably more:
Sit down and plan. Book a consultation and a consultant will build an itinerary with you on screen, comparing fares, routings and lodge availability in real time on Amadeus. This is by far the fastest way to plan a complicated trip.
Submit visa documents in person. Our visa desk checks your file page by page before it goes anywhere near an embassy. Missing bank statements and unsigned forms are the two most common reasons applications stall, and both are caught in five minutes across a desk.
Ticketing and reissues. As an IATA-accredited agency we issue and reissue tickets directly rather than lodging a request with somebody else and waiting.
Corporate account reviews. Finance and admin teams come in quarterly to go through travel spend reports, policy compliance and supplier performance with their account manager.
Collect travel documents. Visas, printed itineraries, insurance certificates and vouchers.
Appointments are not required, but they are strongly recommended for anything that will take more than fifteen minutes, particularly on Saturday mornings and during the December and August peaks, when the office is busiest.

How to Find Our Westlands Office
Muthithi Road runs through the heart of Westlands, parallel to and just north of the Waiyaki Way corridor. The Odyssey sits at number 84. Here is how to reach it depending on where you are coming from.
Coming from Waiyaki Way or the CBD
Head out of the city centre along Uhuru Highway, which becomes Waiyaki Way after the Museum Hill interchange. Stay on Waiyaki Way past Chiromo and take the Westlands exit. Come up towards the Westlands roundabout area and turn onto Westlands Road heading north.
Sarit Centre is your anchor landmark: once you can see Sarit, you are within a two-minute drive of us. From Sarit Centre, continue north and turn onto Muthithi Road. The Odyssey is along this stretch, on your left as you head away from the Sarit side.
If you find yourself on Mpaka Road, Rhapta Road or Woodvale Grove, you have gone one street too far and simply need to cut back across to Muthithi.
Coming from Parklands, Ngara or Thika Road
Take Limuru Road or Forest Road towards Parklands, then head west along Parklands Road or 3rd Parklands Avenue. These feed into the Westlands grid from the eastern side. Cross over towards Muthithi Road: it is a short run once you are past the Aga Khan Hospital area.
This approach is often significantly faster than Waiyaki Way during the 07:00–09:00 and 16:30–19:00 crushes, when Waiyaki Way westbound can add forty minutes to a journey that should take twelve.
Coming from Karen, Lang'ata or the Southern Bypass
Use the Southern Bypass to James Gichuru Road, then head north to Waiyaki Way and follow the Westlands directions above. Allow extra time between 07:30 and 09:00.
By Matatu
Westlands is one of the best-served destinations in Nairobi by public transport. Matatus running the Waiyaki Way corridor towards Kangemi, Uthiru, Kikuyu and Kinoo all pass through Westlands, as do the routes serving Parklands and Highridge. Alight at the Westlands stage near Sarit Centre and walk north onto Muthithi Road: it is a comfortable walk of a few minutes.
Boda boda and ride-hailing drivers know both "The Odyssey Muthithi Road" and "Muthithi Road opposite Sarit" reliably. If a driver hesitates, the phrase that always works is "Muthithi Road, Westlands, near Sarit Centre."
Parking, Building Access and Our Floor
The Odyssey has parking on site, and there is additional paid parking available along Muthithi Road and in the surrounding Westlands lots. Weekday mornings are the tightest window; if you are coming for a long consultation, arriving before 10:00 or after 14:30 makes parking considerably easier.
Enter the building at ground level, sign in at reception, and take the lift to the 5th floor. Our reception is directly ahead as you step out. Tell reception which desk you are here for (corporate, leisure, safaris, visas, MICE or groups) and you will be taken straight to the right consultant rather than waiting in a general queue.

Not Sure Which Desk You Need? Just Ask.
Send us a message and we will route it. No forms, no queue, no waiting for office hours to send it.
Nanyuki Branch: Your Northern Kenya Desk
Dorman's Building, Main Nairobi–Nanyuki Highway
Nanyuki, Laikipia County, Kenya
Mobile: +254 714 445 081 / +254 714 457 609
Email: nanyuki@travelshoppe.co.ke
Very few Nairobi travel agencies maintain a permanent presence upcountry. We do, and it is one of the quiet advantages of working with us.
Finding the Nanyuki Office
Dorman's Building sits on the main Nairobi–Nanyuki highway as it runs through town, which makes it straightforward to find whether you are driving up from Nairobi via Thika, Sagana and Karatina, or coming in from Meru, Isiolo or Timau. If you are flying into Nanyuki Airstrip, the office is a short drive into town.
Coming from Nairobi, you will have crossed the Equator just outside town: once you pass the Equator markers, you are minutes from us. Ample roadside parking is available.
Why a Nanyuki Office Changes What We Can Do for You
Our Nanyuki team lives in the region they sell. That has practical consequences:
Mount Kenya climbs. They know which route conditions are realistic in a given month, which guiding outfits are performing well this season, and what a genuinely acclimatised itinerary looks like. See our Mount Kenya climbing and safari guide.
Laikipia conservancies. Availability in the Laikipia conservancies moves fast and is often relationship-driven. Having people on the ground who see the properties regularly is the difference between "fully booked" and "we can get you in." See Nanyuki and Laikipia travel.
Meru and Samburu logistics. Road conditions, escort arrangements and drive times in the north change with the rains. Our Nanyuki desk gives current information rather than what a website said last season. See Meru National Park safaris.
Local ticketing. Residents and businesses across Laikipia, Nyeri, Meru and Isiolo can arrange full international ticketing, visa assistance and corporate travel through Nanyuki without travelling to Nairobi.
On-the-ground support. If a client is in the region and something goes wrong, we have people who can physically reach them.

Which Desk Should You Contact?
All roads lead to +254 20 5148700, but your enquiry will move faster if you know which team you need. Here is what each desk handles and what to have ready before you make contact.
Corporate Travel Desk
Handles: Managed travel programmes, negotiated airline and hotel rates, travel policy design and compliance, traveller tracking and duty of care, expense reporting, GlobalStar coordination for multinational operations, and new corporate account onboarding.
Have ready: Approximate annual travel spend or trip volume, your most-travelled routes, whether you have an existing travel policy, and who holds sign-off authority. If you are running a formal tender, send the RFP document to info@travelshoppe.co.ke and it will reach the corporate team the same working day.
More detail: Corporate Travel Management in Kenya
Leisure and Holidays Desk
Handles: Family holidays, honeymoons, beach breaks, international holiday packages, multi-generational trips, and all outbound leisure travel from Kenya.
More detail: Leisure travel and holiday packages
Safaris and Tours Desk
Handles: Kenya and East Africa safaris, lodge and camp bookings, game drives, balloon safaris, walking safaris, conservancy access, and safari vehicle arrangements.
Have ready: Dates, number of travellers, whether you want lodge or tented camp, and your comfort level with driving distances versus flying between parks. If you are chasing the Great Migration, tell us: timing changes everything about the itinerary.
More detail: Kenya safari tours
Visa Assistance Desk
Handles: Visa applications for 50+ countries including the USA, UK, Schengen states, Canada, Australia, UAE, China and India. Document preparation, appointment booking, form completion, and application review.
Have ready: Your passport (validity and blank pages matter), intended travel dates, purpose of travel, and any history of previous refusals. Tell us about a refusal: hiding it is the single most damaging thing an applicant can do.
More detail: Visa application assistance in Kenya
MICE and Events Desk
Handles: Conferences, incentive travel programmes, corporate retreats, exhibitions, venue sourcing, delegate logistics and group air movements.
Have ready: Delegate numbers, preferred dates, whether you need residential or day-conference facilities, and your indicative budget per delegate.
More detail: MICE and corporate events in Kenya
Group Travel Desk
Handles: School groups, church and pilgrimage travel, sports teams, family reunions, and any movement of ten or more travellers.
Have ready: Group size, age profile, dates, and whether payments will come from one payer or be collected individually: this genuinely affects how we structure the booking.
More detail: Group travel from Kenya
Flight and Ticketing Desk
Handles: Individual and corporate flight bookings, complex multi-city routings, fare rules and change requests, and airline loyalty coordination.
More detail: Flight booking services
24-Hour Emergency Line: +254 700 372 398
Handles: Travellers who are already in motion. Cancelled or delayed flights, missed connections, denied boarding, lost passports, medical diversions, and urgent rerouting.
Have ready: Your booking reference, your current location, and the flight number affected. Call rather than message: this is the one situation where WhatsApp is slower.

Response Times
Response time depends on the enquiry, supplier availability and the information supplied. For time-sensitive travel, call us and state the deadline. The 24-hour emergency contact is for travellers already in transit; routine enquiries are handled during published office hours.
Tell Us Where You Want to Go
Corporate programme, family holiday, safari, or a visa application that needs to go right the first time: send us the outline and we will come back with a costed plan.

What Happens After You Submit
- Immediate confirmation. An on-screen confirmation and an automated email receipt, so you know it arrived.
- Routing. Your enquiry goes to the department you selected, not a general inbox somebody checks on Thursdays.
- A named consultant. A specific person picks it up and contacts you on the channel you chose. You will have their name and direct line from the first reply.
- Clarifying questions if needed. Better to ask two questions up front than send you a proposal built on guesswork.
- Your proposal. Costed in KES and USD, with what is included and what is not stated plainly.
Our 24-Hour Emergency Line
Most travel goes to plan. When it does not, it usually does so at an inconvenient hour, in a terminal where nobody speaks your language, and after the airline desk has closed.
Our emergency line is answered by a Travelshoppe travel consultant, not a call centre, not a voicemail, not a chatbot. Because we are IATA-accredited with our own ticketing authority, the person who answers can actually act: reissue a ticket, rebook a routing, arrange an unplanned hotel night, or coordinate through our GlobalStar partner in whichever of 80+ countries you happen to be stuck in.
It runs every hour of every day, including Christmas Day and public holidays, and it is available to every Travelshoppe client. Corporate account or individual leisure booking, there is no tiering on this.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is Travelshoppe's phone number?
Our main line is +254 20 5148700, staffed Monday to Friday 08:30–17:30 and Saturday 08:30–13:00. Our WhatsApp number is +254 757 188 757. Our 24-hour emergency line, for travellers already in transit, is +254 700 372 398. The Nanyuki branch can be reached on +254 714 445 081 or +254 714 457 609.
Where exactly is Travelshoppe's Nairobi office?
On the 5th floor of The Odyssey, 84 Muthithi Road, Westlands, Nairobi. The easiest landmark is Sarit Centre: we are a short distance north of it on Muthithi Road. Postal address: P.O. Box 79060–00400, Nairobi.
Do I need an appointment to visit?
No, walk-ins are welcome during office hours. But for anything substantial (a full itinerary consultation, a visa file review, a corporate account meeting) booking ahead means a consultant is free and prepared when you arrive. Call or WhatsApp to arrange one.
Can I get a quote on WhatsApp?
Yes, and many of our clients prefer it. Send your dates, traveller numbers and destination to +254 757 188 757 and a consultant will pick it up. You can send scanned documents and passport pages through the same thread, which is why it is also the fastest channel for visa enquiries.
How fast will you respond to my enquiry?
Response timing depends on the enquiry, supplier availability and the information supplied. For time-sensitive travel, call us and state the deadline. The emergency contact is for travellers already in transit.
Is the 24-hour emergency line only for existing clients?
It is intended for travellers on a Travelshoppe booking, and there is no tiering: corporate and leisure clients have identical access. If you are not yet a client but are in genuine distress abroad, call anyway. We will help where we can and point you to the right embassy or airline contact where we cannot.
Can I pay by M-Pesa?
Yes. We accept M-Pesa, bank transfer and card payments. Paybill details are issued with your invoice. For your own protection, never send funds to a number that did not come to you on official Travelshoppe letterhead or from a travelshoppe.co.ke email address. If anything looks unusual, call +254 20 5148700 and confirm before paying.
Does the Nanyuki office handle international ticketing?
Yes. The Nanyuki branch is a full-service office, not a booking drop-box. Residents and businesses across Laikipia, Nyeri, Meru and Isiolo can arrange international flights, corporate travel and visa assistance there without travelling to Nairobi.
Who do I contact about a corporate travel account?
Call +254 20 5148700 and ask for the corporate travel desk, or email info@travelshoppe.co.ke with "Corporate account" in the subject line. Existing clients should contact their named account manager directly. Full detail on what a managed programme includes is on our Corporate Travel Management page.
What are your office hours over public holidays?
The Nairobi and Nanyuki offices close on Kenyan public holidays and Sundays. The 24-hour emergency line operates every day of the year without exception, including Christmas, Eid, Madaraka Day, Mashujaa Day and Jamhuri Day.
